NordCrest Academy expects every learner to complete program activities honestly and to present their own knowledge, decisions and work.
Learner responsibilities
- Complete assessments and required activities personally.
- Use sources responsibly and identify borrowed ideas, quotations or data.
- Follow assessment instructions and permitted-tool rules.
- Protect login credentials and never allow another person to act as the learner.
- Provide accurate identity and completion information.
Prohibited conduct
Prohibited conduct includes plagiarism, purchased or copied assignments, impersonation, falsified evidence, unauthorized collaboration, manipulation of completion records, sharing answers, credential sharing and attempts to interfere with the learning or verification systems.
Use of artificial intelligence
AI tools may support brainstorming, language improvement or practice where the activity permits them. Learners remain responsible for accuracy, originality, citation, confidentiality and the final submission. AI-generated work must not be presented as personal mastery when an assessment requires independent performance.
Review process
Potential concerns may be reviewed using submitted work, platform activity, similarity indicators, identity information and an opportunity for the learner to explain. A record is not rejected solely because an automated indicator exists; relevant evidence is reviewed together.
Possible outcomes
Depending on seriousness, outcomes may include education and resubmission, assessment invalidation, delayed certificate review, suspension, cancellation of enrollment or revocation of an issued certificate obtained through fraud.
Appeals
A learner may request reconsideration by emailing Contact Support with the program name, relevant activity, decision being challenged and supporting information.
